Artificial and Natural Groundwater Recharge Studies
GSA has conducted over 20 artificial groundwater recharge feasibility investigations with aquifer storage capacity of over 500,000 acre feet. In addition, we have conducted several innovative modeling and monitoring studies to assess natural groundwater recharge rates. We specialize in the design and installation of innovative vadose zone and groundwater characterization systems that eliminate the need for pilot project studies. Our groundwater recharge services include:
Highlights
• Site characterization and determination of potential recharge rates
• Development of unsaturated and saturated flow models to predict recharge performance
• Pilot project design and monitoring
• Monitoring of operating infiltration basins
